Concrete Crack and Joint Repair Services
Professional concrete crack injection, joint filling, and substrate repair services — restoring structural integrity and preparing floors for new resin coatings.
Repairing Concrete Before Resin Installation
Cracks, failed joints, and spalled concrete must be repaired before any resin floor system is installed. Unrepaired defects will reflect through the new coating, allow moisture ingress, and cause premature failure of the resin system. Prime Industrial carries out all necessary concrete repairs as part of our full floor installation service.
Our repair methods include epoxy crack injection for structural cracks, polyurethane foam injection for moving cracks, semi-rigid joint filling for saw-cut joints, and cementitious or resin repair mortars for spalled and damaged areas. All repairs are specified to BS 8204 and BS EN 1504 standards.
Our Repair Methods
Epoxy Crack Injection
Low-viscosity epoxy injected under pressure to fill and structurally bond hairline and structural cracks.
Semi-Rigid Joint Filling
Polyurethane or epoxy joint filler for saw-cut and construction joints subject to movement.
Resin Repair Mortars
Fast-cure epoxy mortars for spalled areas, damaged edges, and surface defects.
Cementitious Repairs
Polymer-modified cementitious mortars for large-area substrate reinstatement.
Moisture Barrier Systems
Epoxy damp-proof membranes for substrates with rising moisture or high RH readings.
BS EN 1504 Compliant
All repairs specified and installed to European concrete repair standards.
Common Repair Scenarios
Hairline & Structural Cracks
Epoxy injection to restore structural integrity and prevent crack reflection through new coatings.
Failed Saw-Cut Joints
Semi-rigid joint filling to accommodate movement while providing a smooth surface.
Spalled & Damaged Areas
Resin mortar repairs to reinstate surface levels and remove weak concrete.
High Moisture Substrates
Epoxy DPM systems for substrates with RH readings above 75% or rising damp.
